El microcalor\u00edmetro permite medir esta se\u00f1al t\u00e9rmica con gran sensibilidad y estabilidad a largo plazo. Es capaz de detectar corrientes de calor en el rango \u00b5W\/g.<\/p>\n<p>Las muestras pueden almacenarse en condiciones isot\u00e9rmicas a temperaturas entre 4 a 150 \u00b0C durante per\u00edodos de tiempo entre varias horas y varias semanas. El principio del m\u00e9todo es un calor\u00edmetro gemelo que mide la diferencia entre el flujo t\u00e9rmico de una referencia y de la muestra. Un sensor termoel\u00e9ctrico reacciona a la diferencia de temperatura en tanto que genera un potencial a trav\u00e9s del sensor conforme al efecto Seebeck. Este m\u00e9todo de medici\u00f3n es pasivo e ideal para reacciones lentas.<\/p>\n<p>El sistema cuenta de un control muy exacto de la temperatura y una gran sensibilidad calorim\u00e9trica de modo que permite realizar mediciones con una elevada estabilidad, una baja relaci\u00f3n de se\u00f1al a ruido y una elevada reproducibilidad. La cantidad de muestra requerida es de 2,5\u00a0g o bien 3,0\u00a0ml respectivamente. Pueden medirse muestras l\u00edquidas y s\u00f3lidas.<\/p>\n<p>Este m\u00e9todo puede emplearse para valorar la estabilidad de un objeto de prueba al almacenamiento.
