Il est de cette mani\u00e8re possible de d\u00e9terminer si la substance est susceptible d\u2019exploser \u00e0 l\u2019effet d\u2019une sollicitation thermique intensive sous confinement d\u00e9fini.<\/h2>\n<p>L\u2019appareillage est constitu\u00e9 d\u2019une douille en t\u00f4le d\u2019acier non r\u00e9utilisable avec un dispositif de fermeture par \u00e9crou r\u00e9utilisable, qui est install\u00e9e dans une enceinte de chauffage et de protection.<\/p>\n<p>Chaque douille est obtenue par emboutissage d\u2019une t\u00f4le d\u2019acier (voir annexe) et elle poss\u00e8de un diam\u00e8tre interne de 24 mm, une longueur de 75 mm et une \u00e9paisseur de paroi de 0,5 mm. A son extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 ouverte, la douille comporte un rebord par lequel elle peut \u00eatre obtur\u00e9e par le disque \u00e0 lumi\u00e8re. Le dispositif de fermeture est constitu\u00e9 d\u2019un disque \u00e0 lumi\u00e8re r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 la pression, avec un trou central qui est solidement assujetti \u00e0 la douille par le vissage concomitant de la bague filet\u00e9e et de l\u2019\u00e9crou. La bague filet\u00e9e et l\u2019\u00e9crou sont en acier au chrome-mangan\u00e8se qui est r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 la chaleur jusqu\u2019\u00e0 800\u00b0C.
