Il est pour cela n\u00e9cessaire de pr\u00e9senter une \u00e9preuve de combustion entretenue (\u00e9preuve UNO L.2) conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 la norme DIN EN ISO 9038.<\/p>\n<p>Cette \u00e9preuve permet de constater si, \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures de test d\u00e9termin\u00e9es (60,5 \u00b0C et 75 \u00b0C) et dans des conditions d\u2019\u00e9preuve d\u00e9finies, un liquide inflammable produit suffisamment de vapeur pour entretenir ou non la combustion, apr\u00e8s qu\u2019il a \u00e9t\u00e9 enflamm\u00e9 par une source d\u2019inflammation (flamme de gaz propane) puis que cette source d\u2019inflammation a \u00e9t\u00e9 retir\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>A l\u2019aide d\u2019une pipette, on introduit 2 ml de liquide dans une cavit\u00e9 chauff\u00e9e du bloc m\u00e9tallique r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 la corrosion de l\u2019appareil. Pendant un intervalle de r\u00e9gulation de chauffage de 60\u00a0\u00b1\u00a02\u00a0s, l\u2019\u00e9chantillon de substance est amen\u00e9 \u00e0 la temp\u00e9rature d\u00e9finie (60,5\u00a0\u00b0C ou 75\u00a0\u00b0C). Dans l\u00b4\u2019hypoth\u00e8se o\u00f9 le liquide ne s\u2019est pas encore enflamm\u00e9, on place la flamme du gaz en position d\u2019\u00e9preuve au-dessus du bord de la surface du liquide et l\u2019on maintient cette flamme en position pendant 15 secondes.<\/p>\n<p>On observe alors le comportement de l\u2019\u00e9chantillon.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9797 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/consilab.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/COMBUSTION-ENTRETENUE-E\u0301PREUVE-UNO-L.2-897x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"897\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/consilab.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/COMBUSTION-ENTRETENUE-E\u0301PREUVE-UNO-L.2-897x1024.jpg 897w, https:\/\/consilab.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/COMBUSTION-ENTRETENUE-E\u0301PREUVE-UNO-L.2-307x350.jpg 307w, https:\/\/consilab.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/COMBUSTION-ENTRETENUE-E\u0301PREUVE-UNO-L.2-768x877.jpg 768w, https:\/\/consilab.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/COMBUSTION-ENTRETENUE-E\u0301PREUVE-UNO-L.2.jpg 945w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 897px) 100vw, 897px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Si l\u2019on ne constate pas de combustion entretenue pendant la dur\u00e9e du chauffage ou apr\u00e8s avoir plac\u00e9 la flamme en position d\u2019\u00e9preuve et l\u2019avoir repouss\u00e9e, il convient de r\u00e9p\u00e9ter l\u2019\u00e9preuve avec une dur\u00e9e de chauffage r\u00e9duite \u00e0 30\u00a0\u00b1\u00a01\u00a0s.<\/p>\n<p>S\u2019il ne se produit aucune combustion entretenue lors de toutes les \u00e9preuves r\u00e9alis\u00e9es, ni au cours de la dur\u00e9e de chauffage, ni lors du maintien de la flamme, il convient de classer la substance test\u00e9e comme n\u2019entretenant pas la combustion, et celle-ci sera alors \u00e9cart\u00e9e de cette classification.<\/p>\n<p>Il convient cependant de classer la substance test\u00e9e comme entretenant la combustion si, au cours d\u2019une des \u00e9preuves r\u00e9alis\u00e9es, il se produit l\u2019une des r\u00e9actions suivantes\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>a) l\u2019\u00e9chantillon s\u2019enflamme pendant le temps de chauffage<\/li>\n<li>b) l\u2019\u00e9chantillon s\u2019enflamme lorsque la flamme est plac\u00e9e en position d\u2019\u00e9preuve et qu\u2019elle y reste maintenue pendant 15 s, et que sa combustion se poursuit plus de 15 s alors que la flamme a \u00e9t\u00e9 replac\u00e9e en position \u201earr\u00eat\u201c.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Une inflammation intermittente qui dure moins de 15 s ne doit pas \u00eatre interpr\u00e9t\u00e9e comme un signe de combustion entretenue.<\/p>\n<p>Normalement, au bout de 15 s, la combustion s\u2019est soit ind\u00e9niablement interrompue, soit elle se poursuit.
