DE SOLIDES)<\/h1>\n<h2>Pas de march\u00e9 possible sans donn\u00e9es \u2013 Ceci est mentionn\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019article 5 de l\u2019Obligation d\u2019enregistrement et d\u2019exigences d\u2019informations sur les substances chimiques qui rel\u00e8vent du nouveau r\u00e8glement REACH, actuellement en cours d\u2019\u00e9tablissement<\/h2>\n<p>En cons\u00e9quence, la d\u00e9termination de la pression de vapeur jouera \u00e0 court terme un r\u00f4le plus important dans l\u2019industrie chimique. Sur la base du r\u00e8glement REACH, la d\u00e9termination de la pression de vapeur rel\u00e8ve des exigences standards en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9preuves physico-chimiques (cf. R\u00e8glement REACH, annexe VII 7.5) et elle sera obligatoire pour tout enregistrement d\u2019une substance.<\/p>\n<p>La d\u00e9termination de la pression de vapeur peut \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9e au moyen de diff\u00e9rentes m\u00e9thodes qui sont d\u00e9crites dans les lignes directrices de l\u2019OECD, essai 104. Avec la m\u00e9thode d\u2019effusion \/ balance de pression de vapeur, il est possible de d\u00e9terminer la pression de vapeur de substances solides et liquides dans une plage de pression de 10<sup>-3<\/sup> \u2013 1 Pa \u2028(ou 10<sup>-5<\/sup> \u2013 10<sup>-2<\/sup> mbar). Cette plage rev\u00eat une importance particuli\u00e8re pour les substances moyennement \u00e0 difficilement volatiles. La Figure 1 montre la structure sch\u00e9matis\u00e9e de la balance de pression de vapeur.<\/p>\n<p>La m\u00e9thode d\u2019effusion repose sur le principe de l\u2019\u00e9chappement d\u2019un faisceau mol\u00e9culaire par l\u2019ouverture d\u00e9finie d\u2019une cellule d\u2019effusion Knudsen et de sa condensation sur un plateau refroidi \u00e0 l\u2019azote liquide. Par le biais de l\u2019augmentation du poids du plateau, mesur\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019une microbalance ultra-sensible (voir Figure 1), on peut calculer la pression de vapeur de la substance d\u2019essai en utilisant l\u2019\u00e9quation d\u2019effusion Knudsen. Sur la base des points de mesure effectu\u00e9s, on peut alors utiliser l\u2019\u00e9quation d\u2019Antoine qui permet d\u2019extrapoler la pression de vapeur \u00e0 d\u2019autres temp\u00e9ratures.<\/p>\n<p>Le laboratoire consilab dispose, en plus de la balance de pression de vapeur d\u00e9crite ci-dessus, d\u2019un deuxi\u00e8me appareillage permettant de d\u00e9terminer la pression de vapeur \u00e0 l\u2019aide de la m\u00e9thode d\u2019effusion par cellule d\u2019effusion de Knudsen. En qualit\u00e9 d\u2019organisme de contr\u00f4le certifi\u00e9 BPL, consilab propose bien entendu la d\u00e9termination de la pression de vapeur en tant qu\u2019\u00e9preuve BPL.
