La piastrina in porcellana \u00e8 fissata su un carrello mosso da due guide scorrevoli. Il carrello \u00e8 azionato da un motore elettrico mediante una barra di spinta, un disco eccentrico e un ingranaggio adatto in modo che la piastrina di porcellana sotto il perno si muova una volta avanti e indietro di 10 mm. Il perno in porcellana pu\u00f2 essere caricato, per esempio, con 120 o 360 N.<\/p>\n<p>Le piastrine piatte sono realizzate in porcellana tecnica bianca pura (profondit\u00e0 di rugosit\u00e0 da 9 \u03bcm a 32 \u03bcm) e hanno dimensioni di 25 mm (lunghezza) x 25 mm (larghezza) x 5 mm (altezza). Il perno cilindrico in porcellana \u00e8 anch&#8217;esso realizzato in pura porcellana tecnica bianca. Esso presenta una lunghezza di 15 mm, un diametro di 10 mm e una superficie terminale sferica ruvida con un raggio di curvatura di 10 mm.<\/p>\n<p>Il risultato della prova \u00e8 considerato positivo se l&#8217;apparecchio di frizione descritto provoca un&#8217;esplosione almeno in una prova. Un crepitio e\/o uno scoppio o una fiammata equivalgono a un&#8217;esplosione.
